HOW DO WE ENGRAVE?

We use a computer driven engraver using diamond tips to create the perfect piece. Whether it’s a date, a meaningful phrase, or even a small image, inscriptions make the piece special to the wearer.

WHAT MATERIAL DO WE ENGRAVE ON?

Our engraved pieces are made of sterling silver, gold filled, or rose gold filled. It's real gold! There's a thick layer of real gold bonded to a brass core using heat and pressure.The 14k gold that's on the outside of gold-fill is the same gold as you would get from a solid 14k piece. This is a durable piece that will not tarnish or chip. It is also safe for those with metal allergies. Gold-filled is much more expensive than gold plated material and will last 10-30 years.

WHAT DOES E-COATING MEAN?

Some of our plated pieces have an E-coating, also known as electro-coating. This is a method that uses electrical current to coat a metal surface with an organic lacquer, covering every nook and cranny on the jewelry with an even and consistent protective coat. This coat protects the sterling silver used to create the jewelry. E-coated jewelry isn't as shiny as rhodium plated pieces and has a warmer tone in color, but it lets the natural beauty of the sterling silver come through without fear of damage.
